Exchanges and Returns 

Exchange and Return Policy  

1. General terms and conditions

All the events involving exchanges or returns must occur within 7 (seven) days from the date of delivery, and must be reported to our customer assistance department. Within that period of time, cancellations can be made directly on the control panel, under ‘Order cancellation’.

Brazilian Beat is released from the obligation to honor requests for exchanges or returns of any product that is returned without the above mentioned communication to the customer assistance department, occurs outside the period of time indicated above, or does not include the accompanying items/accessories.

2. When should the product be refused 

Products are sent to our customers exactly as they were delivered to us by the manufacturer. In any of the following cases, please do not accept the delivery and state the reason for doing so on the back of the attached document of Paypal:
-package was open or damaged;
-product is damaged;
-product is different from order;
-accessories that were described are missing. 

Should you accept the delivery even in the conditions stated above, please contact the customer service department, within 72 hours.

3. Exchange or purchase cancellation 

The return of any product can only occur within 7 (seven) days from the date of delivery. In that period, if the product is defective or if you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact our customer service department and request the exchange of the product.  The following conditions must be observed to be able to exchange a product: 

• the product must be forwarded in its original package, without any indication of usage, keeping it as you received.
• to request the return of products in the categories of CDs, DVDs e Vinil records, it is mandatory that the label/seal of the product be intact.
Cancellations may be requested directly on the control panel, under ‘Order cancellation’. 

Returns via Post Office

If the product and the package in which it was delivered weighs under 15 Kg, and its size does not exceed 105 cm in height, 105 cm in width, and 105 cm in length, it may be returned through the post office.
Our operators will send you an email with the postage code to be presented at the post office. This process is free of charge for the return, in case of substitution, a new delivery charge has to be paid by the customer.
Please follow these instructions to return a product through the post office:
-wrap the product in its original package or a similar one;
-return all the items/accessories accompanying the product;
-enclose the duplicate of the Paypal document received on the payment process. This document must be returned together with the product for it to be identified.
-state the reason for the return on the back of the Paypal document.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Franchised Post Offices do not accept the mailing authorization form. You may find Post Offices here.
The customer service department is ready to supply all the necessary information.

Timeframe to settle the exchange 

Brazilian Beat has up to 30 (thirty) calendar days from the date the product is received at its Distribution Center to verify whether the request meets the requirements stated in the Exchange and Return Policy. If this is the case, it will send another product to the customer.
In the case of products purchased from partner vendors, the 30 (thirty) calendar day period for the exchange starts on the day the product is received at their Distribution Centers. 

5 Refund of amount paid

Brazilian Beat shall refund the amounts paid through the same payment method used for the purchasing process.

For purchases paid with a credit card, the credit card company will be notified and the reversal will be made in the following invoice, in one payment, regardless of the number of payments specified at the time of purchase. The deadline for this reversal depends on the credit card company. 

If you pay via bank slip or direct debit, the refund will be  made through a bank deposit, in up to 5 (five) work days, exclusively to the current account of the buyer, which must be an individual account. The CPF number (taxpayer number) of the account holder must coincide with that on the purchase order (customer CPF number). If the buyer does not have a current account that meets the above mentioned conditions, a Payment Order will be sent, within the same timeframe, in the name of the buyer. This order may be redeemed at any Itaú Bank branch, upon presentation of proof of identification (ID card and CPF).  

The refund of amounts will be processed only after the products have been received and inspected at the Brazilian Beat Distribution Center.

Returns in case the customer wishes to renounce the purchase 

In order to return a product because you have decided not to go ahead with the order, the following terms and conditions apply:

  • the deadline to withdraw the order of a product is up to 7 (seven) calendar days from the date the product is delivered.
  • the product must be forwarded in its original package, without any indication of usage, keeping the original manufacturer seal intact, and accompanied by the Paypal document, the product manual and all its accessories
  • to withdraw the order of products in the categories of CDs, DVDs e Vinil records, it is mandatory that the label/seal of the product be intact.

RETURNS IN CASE CUSTOMER RENOUNCES THE PURCHASE.

Returning a defective product

The requests for exchange must be made to the customer assistance department up to 7 (seven) calendar days from the date of receipt. 

Within that period, cancellations can be requested directly on the control panel, under ‘Order Cancellation’.

  • Products must be returned, preferably, in their original package, keeping the original manufacturer seal intact, and accompanied by the Paypal document, the product manual and all their accessories.

Important Notice: Brazilian Beat is released from the obligation to honor requests for exchanges or returns of any product that is returned without the above mentioned communication to the customer assistance department, occurs outside the period of time indicated above or does not include the accompanying items/accessories. 

Should the product present a defect after 7 (seven) days from the date it was received, but still within the manufacturer’s warranty period, please contact the manufacturer to report the defect and obtain further information. You can also visit one of the technical assistance centers, accredited by the manufacturer and shown in the product manual.

The contractual warranty is the responsibility of the manufacturer and its period and form of usage are stated in the Warranty document accompanying the product. For further information in this regard, please check the Exchange and Return Policy.  

International shipments may be retained at Customs in the country of destination to verify their contents and apply the corresponding import levies, according to local legislation. Delays due to this type of procedure have not been considered for the timeframes and deadlines mentioned herein.

To cancel a purchase 

If you have chosen to pay via bank slip and payment is not made up to the date shown on the bank slip, the order will be automatically cancelled. The same is true for payments via Internet if, due to a failure of the system, the customer is unable to access the Internet banking site.   

Orders for which the payment has been approved may be canceled if the bill has not yet been issued. Simply access the control panel and click on ‘Order Cancellation’. 

If you have already received the product, you may return it within 7 (seven) days from the date of delivery. In that period, if the product is defective or if you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may cancel the order directly at your registration data, under ‘Order Cancellation’.

How to exchange a product

How to return a product

Places we can´t deliver

There are some countrys or states we can not deliver our products with our normal mailing national service. This may occur due to high prices, legislations that dont alow us to send the products or due to our mailing services can´t reach trhough normal delivery. You may contact us if you need more information about the specific reason in your country. At this time we are not shipping to:
